  • Natural weight loss support
  • SCULPTnation specializes in sports nutrition
  • Safe supplement to improve weight loss

SCULPTnation makes many claims about how Burn Evolved can help you lose weight. It’s promised that Burn Evolved will speed up your metabolism, increase brown adipose tissue levels while decreasing white adipose, and suppress your appetite.

Burn Evolved contains several ingredients that have known benefits for the body, such as cayenne pepper and green tea antioxidants, as well as some other less well-known ingredients.

About Burn Evolved

Burn Evolved was created by celebrity fitness influencer Vince Sant’s company SCULPTnation (aka VShred.) It is a fat burning product that can help anyone lose extra pounds, but it seems to be marketed toward fitness aficionados looking to get a little more ripped.

Burn Evolved

  • Natural weight loss support

How Does It Work?

Burn Evolved uses an array of ingredients to increase metabolism through a “thermogenic agent matrix” that raises body temperature and resting metabolic rate. It also contains natural stimulants for extra energy and appetite reduction, as well as a green tea extract that reduces inflammation and can potentially stimulate fat burning.

An unusual claim of Burn Evolved is that it can increase brown adipose tissue (BAT) levels. BAT[1] is a thermoregulator effective at using white adipose tissue (WAT) to heat the body. When BAT levels are high, metabolic rate increases. BAT can also make your body more efficient at metabolizing glucose and can offer protection against developing diabetes.

The ingredients are what make or break a fat burner, so let’s do a deep dive into Burn Evolved and see what it has to offer.

Burn Evolved Ingredients

Epigallocatechin

Epigallocatechin (EGCG) is the first ingredient listed on Burn Evolved. It is an extract from green tea that is full of antioxidants. Aside from receiving benefits from the anti-inflammatory properties of the antioxidants, EGCG[2] has shown promise in research for reducing WAT levels and increasing fat metabolism. These effects appear to be moderate, at best.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is the second listed ingredient. Oddly, no mention is made on the Burn Evolved website about its purpose in the formulation. There is some evidence[3] that daily vinegar intake might help to lower BMI and visceral fat, and apple cider vinegar might offer benefits[4] in glucose metabolism. It seems that the amount of ACV in Burn Evolved is significantly less than the effective doses used in the research studies.

Cayenne Pepper

Burn Evolved contains a trademarked cayenne pepper formulation called Capsimax. Cayenne[5] has a proven positive impact on fat metabolism and weight loss. It has also been shown to improve the waist to hip ratio with regular use. According to experts[6], improving waist/hip ratio can improve your overall health.

Caffeine

Burn Evolved contains about as much caffeine as a strong cup of coffee. Caffeine is a well-known energy booster, and it also has appetite suppressing effects. An added benefit is that caffeine[7] increases your resting metabolic rate for several hours after ingestion.

Grains of Paradise Seed Extract

An ingredient that is not often seen, grains of paradise are a relative of ginger, and research[8] shows that it can positively impact BAT levels and reduce visceral fat levels. It also increases daily energy expenditure, thus allowing you to use up more calories.

Yohimbine Hydrochloride

Yohimbine is a controversial stimulant ingredient that has been banned[9] in many places throughout the world due to excessive potential side effects[10]. If there is any benefit to weight loss, it appears[11] to be limited and inconsistent and is probably not worth the anxiety, heart palpitations, and high blood pressure.

Rauwolscine

Rauwolscine[12] is structurally similar to Yohimbine and is also a stimulant. Little research is available regarding the efficacy of Rauwolscine on weight loss or appetite suppression. Like Yohimbine, Rauwolscine has been banned in many countries because of its side effects.

Health Benefits of Burn Evolved

Several ingredients in Burn Evolved appear to have some effect on reducing visceral fat. High levels of visceral fat correlate with increased risk for cardiovascular disease and diabetes, so lowering visceral fat levels is protective of your health.

As mentioned earlier, cayenne pepper can help improve your waist to hip ratio, also reducing risk for certain diseases.

EGCG’s green tea antioxidants[13] are great at eating up free radicals and reducing inflammation in the body, also improving overall health.

Potential Side Effects

Although the website vows that Burn Evolved will give you “zero jitters,” many people report agitation, insomnia, and increased anxiety after taking it. There have also been reports of stomach upset, high blood pressure, and rapid heartbeat from using Burn Evolved.

Burn Evolved Review 2023: Does It Really Work?

Burn Evolved appears to work some of the time for some people. It has a few ingredients that do what they say it will, but there are some questionable and non-performing ingredients included, as well.

It is a relatively safe product, but for the money it costs, you can certainly find more effective products on the market with fewer side effects.

  • Increases energy
  • Speeds up fat loss
  • Suppresses appetite
  • Temporarily increases metabolism
  • Can have significant side effects
  • Poor customer service
  • Expensive for what you get

“You could do a lot worse” has been said about Burn Evolved. “Not the best, not the worst” is a common sentiment.

Many reviewers had unpleasant side effects while taking Burn Evolved and had difficulties getting a response from customer service when they tried to get their money back.

It’s been mentioned that Burn Evolved works moderately well, but it would be a lot more appealing at a cheaper price point.

How To Take Burn Evolved?

Take 2 capsules a day. It’s recommended to take it early in the day or before a workout. Take it with food if it causes any stomach upset. Be sure not to take it close to bedtime to avoid your sleep being disrupted by caffeine and stimulants.

How To Use Burn Evolved?

If you want an extra push to lose weight, you can add consistent daily use of Burn Evolved to your regimen. Don’t forget healthy food choices and regular exercise to optimize your chances at losing fat.

Who Should Use Burn Evolved?

Anyone who wants to lose fat and increase their metabolism can use Burn Evolved. Even though it does have side effects for some people, it is considered to be a safe product. That being said, you may want to check with your primary care physician before taking Burn Evolved (or any fat burner) if you have a history of high blood pressure or heart issues.

Frequently Asked Questions
